Principal Accountabilities:

• Timely and cost-effective ordering and delivery of raw material to production sites, in line with customer schedules, minimising delays whilst ensuring compliance regulations
• Time and cost-effective delivery of product to end customers, minimising delays whilst ensuring compliance to regulations
• Efficient and constructive communication with stake holders, ensuring informed regarding expected delivery dates of goods
• Manage all Customer Service functions – entering order in the system, order acknowledgement to customers, after service e.g. handling of complaints
• Accurate maintenance of stock records
• Sanction checks for new countries
• Direct Sales Management
• Monitor and check costs/charges received from relevant suppliers against budget
• Sample management
• Artwork follow-up

Nature and Scope of Working Relationships:

 Working with:

• Staff at Histon and Utrecht offices: Collaborating to achieve efficient supply chain
• Selling Agents and Overseas offices: Coordinating with stake holders with order progress, despatch updates, deadlines, problem resolution, provision of documents, according to their needs
• Warehouse Operators: Arranging despatches/receipts, stock control
• Toll Formulators: Coordinating transfer of raw materials to, and finished products from Formulator
• Forwarders: Obtaining quotes, providing clear and complete instructions, booking despatches and monitoring progress

Experience/Knowledge:

• Proven experience of procurement - internationally
• Sound knowledge of logistics movements internationally and supply chain processes
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transportation (via road and sea) and associated requirements
