Principal Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, including supply disruptions, regulatory changes, and market fluctuations.
- Oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials, chemicals, and other supplies, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.
- Expand tolling capabilities from currently “UK and Europe” to Middle East and Africa and support tolling capabilities of some of our products in ROW
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of chemical products.
- Optimize logistics networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while minimizing environmental impact.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, including cost, efficiency, and service levels.
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies and digital tools to enhance supply chain efficiency and transparency.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in supply chain management, particularly within the chemical industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce the environmental impact of supply chain activities.
- Promote sustainable sourcing practices and work towards reducing the carbon footprint of logistics operations.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, including cost, efficiency, and service levels.
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies and digital tools to enhance supply chain efficiency and transparency.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in supply chain management, particularly within the chemical industry.

Nature and Scope of Working Relationships:
Working with:
- External supply and distribution partners to optimise the supply chain.
- Sales and Marketing Team for volume and production planning and customer related matters.
- Finance Team to support budget preparation, monthly and yearly accounts work and optimising the cash flow.
- Regulatory Affairs Team to ensure compliance of existing products and to actively co-operate on the compliance of new products.
- Management to jointly agree on the Supply Chain strategy and to provide regular updates on supply chain performance and strategic initiatives.
- Visit on a regular base our tollers and suppliers.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Degree in Chemistry is a bonus
Proven Experience of:
- Minimum of 10 -15 years in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the agricultural chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge in supply chain best practices and regulatory requirements. Good knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes is an asset.
- Managing international supply chains, including sourcing, logistics, and distribution.
- Supply chain management software and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Sustainability practices and their application in supply chain management.
